21000 Reserve Expansion

Post by blaze » Wed Jul 28, 2004 6:19 am

Ok so since I've K-Modded my 21000, I've been dissapointed with the fact that my water in my reserve is drained so fast. So, I decided to put my broken 1-3-5 to some use. I connected its large reserve to the 21000's small reserve. Since the 1-3-5 reserve has a place for a strap, I used that and a hole I drilled near the front of the 21000 as a place for a strap, and it works just great. The cap with all the glue on the bottom was the gigantic hole where the 1-3-5 reserve would connect to the gun. The glue is only there because it kept leaking. That is the minimum amount of glue needed :Hey, that's funny.: . So anyways, the reserve is huge now. Before, I would get about 3 shots per tank. Now I can get over 7, usually 8. And that's pumping until you can't pump anymore (13 times for my gun). The gun is fairly huge, about 31 inches long. I don't know the weight though. I had to cut off the end of the gun's case because of the cap with the glue, but thats fine it doesn't matter. I purposefully made the reserve angled so I wouldnt have to tip over when I want to pump up my gun :P . I am extremely satisfied with this gun. Amazing power, amazing capacity, and a strap. THIS is a real Monster! And when I heard Doom tell me that he was going to make a 2100 nozzle selector mod, an idea of mine for that mod popped into my mind. I might try it out, or I'll just wait for Doom to make his, then do that one.

Oh and by the way, other than the hot glue on the cap on the bottom of the reserve, the LEAKFREE reserve connection was done entirely with the handyman's secret weapon, duct tape (those of you who watch Red Green will understand me). I have an awesome picture of the gun attached.

Really, a Check Valve Freeze is extremely easy. Check out my signature, and you can get help.

Cool, its as much of a beast as my XP-310 (Swashbuckler). I just did its first combat test today, and it all held up very well. I did a reserve expansion too, but took it away because I use my 310 to back up my 1500. SO I was looking for smallness. I was apfriad it would leak, since there was almost not surface to glue. But I did it. I also added a strap. Look for a artiicle maybe some time at soakthis.tk. I already got a lot done.

Haha, I love the Red Green show. I use duct tape for everything, I made the straps to hold my homemade gun with it. Shouldn't you have tried it out on someone else's gun first, incase something went wrong?

[at]Leprechaun: Haha sorry I didn't really...Sorry.

I'm going to call the gun the K-Rex (K becauseof K-Mod, Rex because of reserve expansion). The thing is a beast it's almost 3 feet long. Also, I was reading some posts in other topics and I may use my 1-3-5's PC case for it since its PC is much larger. I could get more water in the 2100's PC if I did that.

A new PC case might be going a bit too far... you don't want to screw up a gun like that, do you? How big's the reservoir now? (in ml. or l.)

The capacity is exactly 4 liters, which is a bit more than a gallon. How is it going overboard to get a new PC case? It will greatly increase capacity. Are you questioning my techiness? I have done a XPBackfire-esqueload of mods I think I can this. But I won't because I am already satisfied with the gun.

You can pretty much ignore the times on that, I rarely ever have Xfire on when I play. I should, though.
