Hi, my name is daniel I am from Scotland and I am new to the sport. PS. just lost the chance to get my first "real" water gun because my dad was on the computer ( a CPS 2700 mark 1 and a MAX-D 6000 being sent from my own town.)

Welcome aboard!

Not having "real" water guns is nothing to fret about, if you ask me - the only thing that matters is whether the teams and their weaponry are balanced.

I suppose so we are all kind of stuck with the soaker tag range and ramdom guns but we all still have a great time ( when it is not frezzing cold ).

Oh, I noticed those guns on eBay. Was a bit tempted by the 2700, but I'm not really in the market at the moment, and to be honest I'd rather have almost any other CPS. The 2700's not _bad_, but for its size I reckon one really wants more output.

Super Soaker: XP215, 2xXP220, Liquidator, Aquashock Secret Strike M(odded), Arctic Blast M, CPS1200, CPS2100, SC Power Pak, 3l aquapack, 1.5l aquapack
Water Warriors: Jet, Sting Ray M, Shark, Argon M, Tiger Shark, PulseMaster
Others: Waterbolt, The Blaster, Storm 500, Shield Blaster 2000, generic PR gun, generic backpack piston pumper (broken), 3l garden sprayer M, 10l water carrier:

The 2700's lack of output is an easy fix if you have a drill, though if you drill it too large, it starts to become underpowered.

If you don't have access to high class CPS's, I'd recommend getting the best you can from whats available: Flash Flood, Arctic Blast, Orca, Tiger Shark, or the Vindicator, then go for the convenient pistols such as the Max-D 2000 and similar blasters. Then again, it all depends on how you play. Having tactics and speed are at least as important as having guns.

As I've said, my favorite WW's are the Orca and Tiger Shark, and the Vindicator seems to be pretty good. (though I haven't tried it and can't say much on it) The Blazer is also fairly popular and is probably worth buying too. However, they seem to be driving prices up this year.

Look on iSoaker.com for comprehensive reviews regarding water guns.

Ive tried looking for a tiger shark and a orca but it just says disscounted in every site and amazon.co.uk is rubbish for water guns in genaral. There is a orca on ebay but it is £20.

It's not really the time of year for water guns. You'll probably have to wait until nearer the summer.

That said, Argos appear to have Super Soakers, for delivery at least - not sure about in store. Interestingly there's a severe price difference between the Flash Flood and the Arctic Blast, despite their being very similar guns.
