I've heard that the XP 150 is one of the best air-pressure soakers ever made. If anyone has one, how does it compare to the more recent air-pressure soakers (I.e. 1999 and on) and the CPS's? There's one on sale at EBay.

Lets say it that way, the XP310, Max-D 6000 and triple Aggressor are inferior pieces of XPBackfire-esque compared to it. XP 150 has 2 huge PCs that make the other PCs look like shriveled grapes. The XP 150s power is almost CPS like and its riot nozzle gives a 15X like shoot reaching 20-25 feet. Now thats a useful riot feature. The normal nozzle reaches 40 feet. It requires only 7-8 pumps.
Also the XP 150 has a track mounted pump, a sturdy construction and a cooler design. On Aquanexus.com it is seen as the best all around Air Pressure Blaster.
In other words, yes, it is a really good blaster.

1 slightly off-topic note: how do you get the nozzle cap off on the 1993 edition?

You simply screw it of. I first didn't know about the riot nozzle till Maxstar pointed it out.

The Max-D 6000 has more nozzles and better range than an XP 150. The only ways they could make the 150 better would be to add stream laminators (or add the Max-D tech which acts like them) and give it a nozzle selector beyond riot blast and 2X. That would be the best mass produced air pressure gun ever.

I missed the XP150 on EBay. :( . Maybe one will go on sale later. I'm going to stay alert.
