In about a week or so I'm going to get my CPS 4100. I want it to last a while so can you please give me instructions on how to reinforce the trigger?

you really don't check this site other than the forums do you.

You can pretty much ignore the times on that, I rarely ever have Xfire on when I play. I should, though.

It's not under reinforcment. Its a trigger repair that you can do before the trigger breaks.

How does everyone seem to break the 4100 trigger so easily? It doesn't feel THAT weak. It is compared to the other soakers, but you really have to almost try to break it.

Sorry about that comment [my trigger just BROKE] How can you fix the trigger AFTER it breaks? Trigger reinforcement didn't seem like that much of an issue until today, when it randomly snapped.

Blaze fixed his with just some plastic welder. Now its the strongest part of his gun. This stuff is for plastic only, but it can hold 50% more than epoxy.

So its true. The CPS4100 is a piece of XPBackfire-esque. Sure the trigger can be repaired, but still. Its should not happen on any soaker. Its better to spend $20 more on ebay for a CPS1500. Plus the hot time is twice as long.

I wonder if the Monster has any trigger problems. I have not heard any cases of a trigger break.

On the trigger repair article it tells about that metal strip. If I were to just glue that on to my trigger like he did then would it reinforce it?

not really, you need reinforcments all around the break. I'm sure it would work great for preventing the problem. About the monster problems, the only problems I've had with my XL is pump dificulties. After the seconed use, the pump broke. Now it's only quick fill usable. I havn't bothered to open it up and see what the problem is.

Smudge, people have done the repair in my trigger repair article for years, I didn't even make it up, I reinvented it though. The only person who hasn't got it to work is blaze. He likely didn't follow it very well. It's the best method, his sounds like a good alternative though(told me about it on AIM).

Duxburian, you can fix it after if breaks using the same stuff as trigger reinforcement. The article is in Repairs.

Still broken. The trigger piece won't stay attached to the darn valve. Me and Nibor Dude have tried glue and we also tried to attach it with wire. Please help!
Waterbridge's war is less than 2 weeks away and I need the 4100 working as my sidearm.

<edit> Sorry to a lot of you but I only trust the mods from now on for tech advice. The nozzle drilling on my 21k wasnt worth it. :(
