Ball valve for water cannon

Post by fradzap » Wed Feb 28, 2007 10:00 pm

Brass ball valves are the best for water cannon applications, but can the far cheaper plastic valves be used? I'm on a limited budget...I'm also a cheapskate, and my wife just got her first ever traffic ticket (she's 60, so that's not bad) for $101. So I've got to economize.

Any suggestions? :)

I used a plastic ball valve modified with a torque arm on my Supercannon II water gun. There weren't any problems at all. I would highly recommend using a plastic ball valve to save money.
