simply explained as cold plastic dropped
2 cracks, 1st on 3' plastic tubing, second on connection from 3' tube to vinyl tube.
i tried this water-proof/pressure-proof tape (that worked) but because the trigger goes around the tube, i couldn't wrap the tape because it was too bulky.
glue would be my favorite option if someone could suggest a good brand. if not can i replace it with some cheap pvc pipe?
also: i can't get the black locking mechanism off of the back to open the gun up fully. suggestions?
ps: could i take parts from an articshock?
sorry pictures aren't working today, i'll try later

Try epoxy putty, and no, you probably could not use parts from an arctic shock or blast (If you can, go to home depot and get epoxy putty - they generally sell good brands)
Alternatively, you could use heatshrink.
You take a large piece of heat-shrink, put some form of glue under it, and then shrink it around the tube. Epoxy putty would work better, but this is an alternative

Read this thread to see how to upload images if you are having trouble: http://forums.sscentral.org/t3747/
Attachments should work. I've seen people use them before without any trouble. If you want to use attachments here I would suggest checking the maximum file size because that's the only thing that could go wrong. Post here with the error it gives you if that isn't the problem.
Read this page to learn about glues: http://www.sscentral.org/repairs/glue.html
Read this page to learn how to repair cracks: http://www.sscentral.org/repairs/cracked-plastic.html
Those will offer more specific tips. Epoxy putty should work well though. Just be sure to follow the tips outlined in the glues article and I don't think you'll have much trouble unless I'm visualizing your problem wrong. Upload an image to be sure.
