Default Quadstrike MK2

I just thought up a variation on my old four PC design, and it seems like something I should have figured out earlier. So much extra tubing, an extra switch and an extra valve assembly is unnecessary. What I should have done was looked back to the simplest multichambered gun: the revolver.

Let's keep the four pressure chambers and maybe even make them into CPS chambers.

Reservoir in the back, pump underneath, the tube carries the pressurised water to a disc with one hole in it. On the other side are the four pressure chambers, maybe recessed into the disc. a gear is turned to switch one chamber to another, and you can pressurize each chamber, turning them when they're full. Also I think the back mounted stock/pump would be a cool idea. Have a peek

Interesting idea. Once again, it's a neat trade-off between the simplicity of one large chamber and the element of surprise (opponents may think you're empty when you still have water left). You may have some trouble getting the seal to work, though. I'd try a rubber sheet and see how it goes.

You will have trouble turning the cylinder with a gear, they're going to be big an heavy, I'd ditch that and turn the cylinder directly.

Also, the backwards pump may look unusual, but I expect it will be more difficult to use. There have been guns with non-forward oriented pumps before, but they've been small.

Usually with a backwards pump, you get bad leverage, which just makes it more complicated and difficult to begin with. Also, if you have three PCs, how do you pressurize all three at once? You would have to change flow.

But anyway, interesting design. It would be very useful in wars, cause when their pumping, you're shooting! Cool!

the chambers turned and are pressurized while in the firing position, then you can turn it again to pressurize a new chamber until all four are fill, firing each one at a time.
