Does anyone know how to make a syringe type water gun ? I have a store bought one that is like a "noodle",I love taking it down the river with me. Any plans would be appreciated.

Thank You.

try the homemade section scroll down and there are some off site syringe/river guns with instructions on how to build them.

The waterzooka has a well detailed guide and is pretty easy to find.

Personally, I'd want one with the capability of pumping from a reservoir or tube, which can be used conventionally or as a boat-mounted gun. However, getting that to work will require an extra check valve that'll affect power and stream lamination.

I think I know the one you mean aprilmae54. The one you've got doesn't look at all like a water gun until you shoot someone with it right?

^ Those are very common in stores. They're basically a cylinder in the shape and size of those foam noodles with a little squiggly and hole in one end, and the plunger in the other end. I'm not sure how well they perform compared to other piston guns though. They seem to have a larger ID.
