You know those new shield guns? Are they good. They look kind of cool, but knowing about all these guns in '04 and all these non-SS's I'm not keeping my hopes up.
There is a commercial for it.....

The Shield Blasters suck, from what people have said about them they are akward to use, don't have good output and not worth the price. Don't waste your money on them.

You can pretty much ignore the times on that, I rarely ever have Xfire on when I play. I should, though.

The gun itself I know is horrible. But you gotta admit.............the shield idea is pretty cool. You could go a whole fight without getting soaked(and not soaking anyone else with your XPBackfire-esquepy gun too.........) ;)

What are you guys talking about? What Mattel guy?

Also I know you can but shields on guns but it isn't the same as built in goodness.

on the WWN forums, there was a guy from Mattel pitching Sheild Blasters. he said he was a 12-year-old and had a dad working for NASA. heh heh. fake.

His first post was such an ad it's not funny. It's getting a little old now though. :Hey, that's funny.:

I saw a picture once of someone who had made a shield for his CPS 2500 out of corrugatged cardboard (a.k.a., plastic cardboard). Can someone give me the link? I've been looking but haven't been able to find it again.

Also, is corrugated plastic the preferred method for making soaker-mounted shields, or is there something else that works well? For personal shields that you carry on your arm I plan on using the Rubbermaid-lid-with-string method. Thanks!

I don't get it.
When you make shields for a gun do you just make a shield and tape it on?
