The Absolute Best Water Gun
This poll is for every modern water gun, instead of the best SS or WW.

Go Vindicator! It is the only real competition to the old guns, and it even uses CPS technology.

Question: How good is the expedition? It looks really cool, and I might want to buy it.

The expedition is just a renamed blazer, so it has good power and a decent selection of nozzles.

I already know that it's the Blazer. I was just wondering how good it is.

This thread needs to be merged with http://forums.sscentral.org/t5977/ which unfortunately, I don't know how to do. In the future, just let a moderator know what changes to a poll you need to make.
I think it has long been unanimously agreed upon that the Vindicator and Flash Flood are the best options available today. The Blazer/Expedition is another popular option but the Vindicator is the best for combat while the FF has the best power to size ratio.

Re: The Absolute Best Water Gun
Though misleadingly titled, the other thread is meant to be Super Soaker only. And then there's mine which is Water Warriors only. Things have got a bit confusing I agree, but at the moment there's basically best SS, best WW, and best Overall - three threads.
I would vote in this...but I haven't shot the Vindicator, so my vote would be badly misleading. (I've rarely shot the Flash Flood either, but I know it's very similar to the Arctic Blast.)

I work on Windows. My toolbox is Linux.

The vindicator has a nice stream, and good lamination on most of the nozzles.

I'm not exactly familiar with this broad software, but if it's like IP Board, at the bottom of the thread there should be a drop down menu labeled "Topic Moderation" or something to that extent. It should give you the option to merge topics. Then it'll take you to another page and give you a forum to make the merger (new thread's title, url of thread you wish to merge with this, etc.)C-A_99 wrote:This thread needs to be merged with http://forums.sscentral.org/t5977/ which unfortunately, I don't know how to do. Hope that's helpful (sorry for the hijack).

Re: The Absolute Best Water Gun
The Liquidator should win hands down.
It is the most powerful Supersoaker of it's size.
I always used it in conjunction with my Home Made AP guns.
I was so devastated when the Trigger assembly broke in it. 3 years after they stopped production of the liquidator too..

The Liquidator isn't a modern water gun.

Re: The Absolute Best Water Gun
Since aquiring the Vanquisher, I have now decided that it is the best watergun. this weekend, I will work on swapping the nozzles from my broken vindicator.
I must also add that I believe the flashflood is over-rated. what I did on my blazer, with surprising success, was use a hand drill to drill out the fan blast. This created an extremely poorly laminated stream, which has the same range and spread as a FF. it also has 4 more nozzles on it's selector.

Re: The Absolute Best Water Gun
The FF's blast actually has a lot of range considering it's a riot blast. Given the Expedition is based on a HydroPower PC system with small internals, there is no way it could push out a riot blast that large with any effectiveness. The large nozzle is already very weak on HydroPower PC's so I doubt it could push out a riot blast of that size and be effective.
FF's blast is king. 350mL/s is far more than most riot blasts output, including the 4100. (if you take out the useless typhoon blast it creates a decent riot blast) It may be nothing compared to a CPS 2000's, but the FF is far lighter and easier to work with.
