Welcome to SSC, Orion!

First of all, this isn't laser tag, this is Super Soakers.

Secondly, those are pretty ok soakers you got. You can check our reviews section for a good deal, and http://www.isoaker.com has a excellent reviews section. Once you have some ideas about CPS, XP, etc, the best place to find soakers now is either the Buzz Bee toys line (avaiable at Toys R Us), or the magical place on the internet, EBAY! :Hey, that's funny.: Actually, you can also find the CPS4100, the best soaker currently avaiable in stores, IMO, on Amazon, as well as the Max-D secret strike.

As for strateiges, Again, Check our stratery section for more tips.

Hope you have a good time soaking!

Thanks,

I think the XP 240 is one of the small guns, but I did not check. Triple Charge I have used. That gun is really bad. I disassembled it and most of it got trashed, so I don't have it anymore. All I remember was that it took a ton of pumps when not using the QFD and it didn't perform like it should have.

If I were you, I'd get some better guns pronto. Amazon.com CPS 4100's are the most readily available CPS soaker. Many Sports Authorities have very cheap ($7.49) CPS 2100, and there also is rumors of Monster Xs there at some, again, very cheap. I would check SA before going to Amazon or eBay, you can really get a good deal there. I would buy a couple 2100s and mod a few.

This site has it's own Tactics section. The (here we go again) Board Guidelines recommend looking around before asking.

What is the name of the gun with the backpack? I would get that one, most backpack guns are really good.

It's ok, but most any backpack gun should be better. Before you buy, find out the name of the backpack gun and post here. You don't want to get a XPBackfire-esque gun. ;)

The Power Pak, definitely, unles you plan to be only fighting in woods away from a hose. :Hey, that's funny.: Read my review of it on the site.

You'll need a hose for the Power Pak; it's QFD-only. I have one, and used it today. I love using the Saturator nozzle when facing kamikaze-style warriors who run up to you. :Hey, that's funny.: You should be able to completely soak a Triple Charge user; if you can't, then...er...well...

If you're looking for a full arsenal, at least get one of each class of blaster (one heavy, one rifle, one light rifle, and a pistol). Good idea if you want to qualify for all game types.

Following up, I have the options for guns in stores now in those categories, though you may want to check eBay. I replaced some of the categories to um...better fit my needs...shut up.
Heavy Blaster: Cps 4100? Might be too light. Check eBay for guns like the Cps 2500.
Medium Blaster: Cps 4100
Light Blaster: Xp 310, Triple Aggressor (not the best...), Max-D Secret Strike
Pistol: Storm 750, Max-D 2000, Max-D 3000, Liquidator (total XPBackfire-esque)

If you know of more soakers in stores that Orion may want feel free to add them.

[at]Blaze-I wouldn't classify the Secret Strike as a pistol--it's more a light rifle more than anything.
