Google's finally updated it's cache. We're now (once again) #1 in Google for SSCentral, even beating the much larger SSCentral.com.

Here's a few keywords I've found us near the top:
  • homemade water gun #2 and #3
  • RolandTower #1 and #2 (fairly popular actually)
  • water gun tactics #2 - #3
  • super soaker tactics #1
  • super soaker forums #1
  • water gun forums #4
  • super soaker reviews #2
  • super soaker modifications #1 and #2
  • super soaker mods #1 and #2
We still don't show up for the big searchs like Super Soakers or Water Guns on the first page, but I'm working on it. :Hey, that's funny.:

Cool, and not an iSoaker site around either.
I don't check this forum anymore.

I don't think that matters, iSoaker has his own set of keywords that bring in just as many people.

I've also noticed that (for some strange reason), we're #1 in Google for just a plain search for "homemades". NerfHaven shows up on page two, SSCental again on page 4 along with Bluesoak at the bottom (takes time to show up anywhere, but this was quick for them). We're really going to be pulling in the hits with this!

Edit: I've decided to change the title of our front page to say "Super Soaker and Water Gun..." as opposed to the plural forms. According to the Keyword Suggestion Tool, Super Soaker is much much more commonly searched phrase. I had thought that "Super Soakers" would also include searches for Super Soaker, but I was wrong. We barely were on the second page when there were 100 sites per page in Google for a search on Super Soaker.

I had Water-Talk on Google Adwords (on the right side "sponsors"), but I had to take it off because it was mad expensive.
Whatever music you listen to probably sucks.

How so? I thought you made money by showing their ads?

Thats Adsense.
Adwords are the things that show up on the right of a google search. Half the time its for ebay. It cost $ every time someone clicks on it. I wouldn't expect that to be very expensive especially at the lowest rates, since not that many people search for super soakers.

Cool, BlueSoak made it on the map, I thought it would take longer for the site to show up in the search engines.
They said the registration would take a very long time.

Not exactly. It turned out to be nearly 70 bucks a week.
