I don't know much about XP guns but I've only heard good things. I've heard for a fairly small guns most XPs are pretty good. Most people say to use them as a secondary but never a primary, but the people who tell me this haven't been into water guns for that long and might not know as muh as some of you guys. So if someone could please give me some mini reviews on this topic that'd be great.
P.S Is two XP 270s for $20.00(can) a good deal?

Well, I wouldn't really know but compared to the cps line they feel a little weaker. The size to power ratio is good thought, my xp 220s are great side arms. The cps series is probably better thought. I handled a cps 1200 and I seemed a little stronger than my xp 310. $20.00 Canadian seems like a good deal thought. Well thats my two cents.

XP guns use air pressure, while CPS guns use constant pressure tech. Any CPS gun will outclass an XP, but XP's are great for light troops and skirmishers. I have seen the XP 310 stand up to CPS, it is my favorite XP gun. An XP with a nozzle mod, XPS, and CVF can be a formidable weapon. 20 Can. is a fair deal, I wouldn't do it though, because there are some good CPS guns still available at cheap prices. Check a Canadian Tire or some thrift store.

CFV is check valve freeze just spell it out.
I have an XP-310. I was ignorant enough to think my modding spree on it brought it up to CPS snuff. So with plenty of ego, I handed my friend a CPS 1500 and challenged him to a 1HK match (hit = 4" wet mark")
Guess who won?
At least I put up a good fight, and it lasted awile. I didn't have much of a chance though.
My XP-310 "SwashBuckler" has a CVF, Custom pump handle (I guess repair since the old one broke) nozzle drill, and strap addition, and a fat drop (cut/take off all unneeded parts and fairing)
I'm thinking about doing a PC expansion to it since it would be extreemly easy. My only troubles are as foollows:
1.)Will is be able to hold the weight of the PVC PC's withought bending/cracking the internals?
2.)Will I (most likely a "duh") have to increase the reserve size since every pressurization will drain much more of my water supply
If I do go through with a PC expansion it won't be much of XP-310 anymore.

XP is a good series, but remember there are other good air pressure guns out there just as good or better than the XP series. Try to score some good deals on golden oldie XPs, and remember The XP series is going to become hard to find now along with CPS. Its near the end of the season, so if a store has overstock, head over there, they could be on sale.

Alright I will thanks. The new guns are Water Warriors right? I saw a few of them at Toys R Us, they had one with light things on it.
Storm said they were good, but I didn't go there for a Water Warrior, I went their for my beautiful CPS 4100.
Oh, and I saw a Max -D Secret Strike for 24.99$ Canadian. I was wondering if that gun is any good cause I can get 2 for about 40$...

I have a large collection of XP models, and I think they are the basis of a good arsenal. I like the styling of almost all the old XP models, they are highly reliable, long lasting soakers that are sure to appreciate in value. Most of them make a good, if not excellent backup.
