Water War Vests

Post by martianshark » Thu Dec 30, 2010 6:25 am

I found this on Urban Taggers. There's a company that sells vests that change color when they're wet. Possibly useful for organized water wars...

This was posted around some time ago. (Perhaps at iSn.) Can't remember when/where at the moment though.

Anyway, problem is, the targets are as small as laser tag targets (which are difficult enough to tag with IR beams alone, nevermind water), though it's not so bad if the targets are reusable. (Then it could possibly be useful if redesigned to fit a larger area.)

Well, you might not see the small target size as a problem, but rather as making the battling more challenging.

The main concern I think is how easily and quickly do they turn back? You don't want to have to wait for three hours between rounds.
I work on Windows. My toolbox is Linux.

I am asking myself, whether they DO TURN BACK or NOT and if they do, how long it takes it. May you can use a hair dryer to fasten drying. Hopefully they do, otherwise you have to throw it away after a single use ...

It would be interesting to know how this work, my you can build up a own "T-S" (lets call it T-S = Target Shirt)
