Take a look at the fake Super Soaker in the picture. PR tech, with fake PC. What I think is the difference between this and other fakes is the fact it has a "Super Soaker" logo on it, but it is not made by Larami. Any other fakes like this been heard of before? <_<

Well that wins the award for most realistic fake I've ever seen. That's comparable to the Super Shooter CPS 2000 in terms of being realistic.

What's that K shaped gold logo for? It's below the left side of the reservoir. Possibly the real company?

That's a fake. I agree with Doom here, it does get the award in my book for the most realistic fake. Im not sure where it came from, but yeah I Don't see any Larami engravings ther ein the plastic. It has a unique style to it, the stickers are styled differently so it does look like it is appealing. However, I can see through that and see the bad trigger and pump, Fake PC even.

Trigger and PC maybe, but the pump is true to the 95's.
Whatever music you listen to probably sucks.

I think perhaps the only thing they did with the stickers is make it 'Extra Power' whereas isn't it usually 'Xtra Power' on Larami's models? The trigger does look like one you'd see on a cheap PR soaker, so I agree with Jade and would venture to say that the PC is as ornamental at the Max-D 5000's.

EDIT - That gold K has never been seen on any Larami soaker, and gives it away a bit. Perhaps they should have hidden it slightly better.

Incorrect, the Larami models (I own an XP 75) from that year have "Extra Power," not "Xtra Power."

I think what gives it away is the pump and trigger, the styling looks different, this looks like one off a cheapo gun, while th ones from that year have bumps on the side of the pump.

If you look at the sticker, on the XP 75 and 150 it says Larami in the bottom right hand corner which it does not on this gun.

I was WRONG about the pump handle and trigger! Look here for a picture if the gun. Also, no logo in the corner!

I tried to tell you...

In addition, the "XP" is the Metallicized shade only on the 150, 250, and 300. Both SSW's and My 95s have yellow printing, in addition to my 75, 55, and 35s.

Sorry, I was working from later models with that statement.
I was WRONG about the pump handle and trigger!
The trigger on the XP95 on IsC is definetly different to and sturdier than the one of the so-called XP96.
Also, the PC is a different shape and the pump looks better-fitting to it's track.

If you look carefully at the nozzle of each soaker, the XP95 has a slight protrusion in the nozzle, perhaps to improve lamination? Not on the 'XP96'.

That's strange, my 75 has the metallicized logo on it, and I have the box too, and even that has the metallicized logo.

I can get you guys some pics later today.
