Super Soaker 100

Post by rollerc1979 » Sat Dec 05, 2009 6:59 pm

Hello all super soaker fans. I have found my old Super Soaker 100. It's not in mint condition but I would say the used category. I am sure it can be cleaned up nicely. The sticker is still nice and intact on the water bottle as well. I know I am not going to use this again, but I don't have the heart to toss it or give it away. I do believe someone out there would like to give it a good home. I am not sure what it's worth. I saw one on ebay for 35.00? I was also reading it would make a good collectors piece. I can take photos and e-mail to anyone interested in it? Give me an offer +the actual cost of shipping and it will be out before Christmas. Thanks for reading!

What an interesting soaker.

You don't see these very often.

Hope someone snatches this up.

the 100 is notoriously breakable, so have you tested it to make sure it's working? if so I'd start the bidding at 20 dollars plus shipping. If you get your own box and use grocery bags or newspaper as packaging shipping cant be much over 10 dollars. I would offer more but I already own a SS 60. Still I'd love to have this old thing just for its place as the first separate air chamber blaster.

Well, it appears that we have a clear winner! Nobody's bid for days (about 2 weeks), unless rollerc_79 wants it to continue, I'd say we have a winner.

rollerc_79, what do you think?

Yeah, they are fragile. I had a SS50 and my bro a SS100. THey both broke down in the first year of usage. The first generation of soakers were not so great in terms of build quality.

Yes, they were handled a bit roughly, but that's expectable for boys with toys.
Resistance is futile. You will be soakinated.
