The limits for a signature picture are ridiculous. The sig police wiped my sig because my picture was 44 pixels too tall. 44 pixels! Why don't the sig police wipe DA's sig? It must be around 800 pixels past the limit.
OK, I've vented the worst of my anger. I still don't understand why the limit is so small, however.

My sigs are all 500 X 100. Perfect.

EDIT: Holy Soakers! Your sig is only 132 x 99? Man, that's insane.

The text makes it larger than that. Just resize it so that it's about 15 pixels smaller and you'll be in the clear. About DA, we'll get on it. If you've got any other problems PM me.

thanks. but I can't actually resize that picture, as I work on public computers only.
as well, my question about why the size restriction is so small wasn't answered. just asking.

Well if you can't help it then it's fine.

The reason we have this rule is simple: It is annoying for people to have to see a post with a sig larger than it. I know you could turn off signatures, but most don't. Some forums have banned signatures longer than 2 lines. Here I suppose it's moderate.

The picture in my old sig.

Measured at 200x150.

The picture of my new sig.

Measured at 133x100.

Was the old one really too large? After all, 6KB would barely take a second, probably even with a 28.8 kilobits per second modem.

Also, you can barely tell there are starships in the new one.

Rules are rules. My duties include having to edit sigs which are outstanding in the list of offenses. Don't blame me for fulfilling these duties.

The rules are NOT for that reason. Sure, if there is a 100k image loading in a sig, it wouldn't last, but what I said earlier completely was the reason for having this.

Funny... this also should be in feedback, not in internet.
Second move of the day for Molitor...
