What do you plan on buying this year? Since most of the 2005 soakers look pretty good so I'm definately going to buy a Flash Flood and a Triple Shot. I might get an AquaPak Devastator or an Arctic Shock later on in the season. I'm also going to look for a CPS 4100 if I have enough money left over.

I'm looking into getting a Flash Flood and maybe the Arctic shock. The APD looks interesting, but I don't think I'll be getting it. I believe they're selling at Toys R Us now so I might check there this weekend.

The most powerful Super Soaker is the CPS 2000. Running close behind is the CPS 2500, which some might say is more manageable since it has 3 nozzles to choose from.
The two CPS-line backpack soakers are pretty powerful, as well. although not being as powerful as the CPS 2500 or CPS 2000. These are the CPS 3000 and CPS 3200.
The Monster XL isn't that powerful for its size, but still is powerful enough. The CPS 4100 is a good medium CPS, but can't match the power of the CPS 1500.
You could always try building a homemade for even greater power!

Today I went to that Fortinos store near me and I saw pretty much boring soakers. They have a summer toy section, but they usually only carry the smallest of the new soakers. This year they have the new vaporizers, painted blue and green, the new triple shot (I plan on picking one up), and the helix, which comes in a two-pack this year. I'm going to take a look at Toys r' Us and Zellers/Wal-Mart this weekend.

I believe that Toys r' Us carries real brand Super Soakers later on in the year, prehaps June? I bought a Splashzooka from Toys r' Us last year at the end of June.
EDIT-I bought a Triple Shot today at that Fortinos. It's really nice for a sidearm, I'll review it later.

I'm definitely (when I earn enough money) purchase a Flash Flood. I've heard that the gun has a good amount of power for its size. I'm still undecided if I'll purchase the Aquapack Devastator.
