Why does this deserve a thread? Because it looks like this.

Any of you out there have any luck with blasters that double as shields?

Neat, as it appears to still allow your hand to pump a primary blaster. If I had one of these, that's how I'd use it.

I had a sheild blaster 2000, and it sucked. Hard. The shield snapped off very quickly, the range is about 15', and the crank-based firing mechanism makes it impossible to hit anything.
This one appears pressurized, so it may work better.

Pessimist: These blasters hold no water
Optimist: But their small output means they last just as long
Marketing: Huge blasts of water!
user: I shot it at an angle and it went a whole ten feet!

I have the Shield Blaster 2000 too. The shield is indeed flimsy, and while I think the power's acceptable, I agree with soakernerd that the crank makes it good for spraying wildly but bad for aim.
The above is a knock-off of the Shield Blaster 3000. The basic design is the same, but the original used a crank, whereas this is probably pressurised reservoir. Don't expect much power from it.

I work on Windows. My toolbox is Linux.

Well it's probably not bad for $2.

Re: Shield Water Gun.
I had the Shield blaster 1000, and still have it. Piece of crap.
I reject your reality and substitute my own.
Quack damn you.
