Actually, although I haven't read the thread you're talking about, you put me on the right track...

Recently, I read a thread with references to integration mods (also called PC swaps). It consists of replacing a soaker's CPS bladder with a stronger one from another soaker. Although Ben frowns upon it because of possible leakage, etc., it could be the best solution in this case.

@ CROC (if he still looks at this thread): Find a CPS 2000, or another CPS if you don't mind a power decrease, that has a good PC--it doesn't matter if anything else is broken. Replace the bladder, if possible, after looking at threads that talk about this. SM might have some good information about this too.

I'm not too certain about the functionality of this mod, but at least you could give it a try.
