My Homemade

Post by captianfear » Mon Feb 16, 2009 9:32 pm

I posted this on ISoaker Also.

I took some pictures of a homemade I made last summer. It is called the CAD.

The gun takes 8 pumps for max distance and runs on 100 psi
The range of it is 12 metres. It is a compact artilley device (the name CAD)

The water left behind after a shot (the buldge on the left is from a seris of shark shots)

I made a decent video of It firing

I noticed that the pictures may be cut out a bit. To see full size just go to my photobucket account. http://s692.photobucket.com/albums/vv283/captianfear/

Thanks,

Looks good. How easily can you hold it, though? I presume you'd fire from the hip and let the tank rest against your shoulder.

you might want to take pictures in a well lit room without flash next time. it seems you have the ISO set too high, which over exposes the photos and makes them very bright. (i recommend taking multiple pictures at different ISOs or set it to AUTO ISO)
you can barely see the schrader valve in the 2nd pic, and the flash reflects off the ball valve making it bright as well. The white surface the pictuers were taken on doesn't help much either.

just some suggestions for some better quality pictures next time. :)
My "arsenal": Customizable APH, Storm 600 pistol (still haven't finished fixing this), launcher- Model:AB1.0(Decommissioned), AB1.5, soon AB 1.1(2"rebuild) maybe ill get something else in the future
