Yup, I would think so due to the salt residue. Avoid filling it with anything but clean tap water.

the salt will corrode the internals if left in and the soaker will eventually fail and possibly be unusable
My "arsenal": Customizable APH, Storm 600 pistol (still haven't finished fixing this), launcher- Model:AB1.0(Decommissioned), AB1.5, soon AB 1.1(2"rebuild) maybe ill get something else in the future
My site Image My website/forum is back up and running, for the most part after it having been deleted in october

All blasters have metal parts which can get corroded if they are exposed to water (which can happen if the blaster is submerged or shot at with seawater). Salt may damage rubber seals and will definitely damage rubber bladder pressure chambers. Use only clean tap water especially if its a blaster that's old, rare, or otherwise important.

Yes, salt water will destroy the blaster, at least slowly. It degrades the rubber and metal parts including springs, metal pins, rubber seals / rings and elastic pressure chambers.
Resistance is futile. You will be soakinated.

I think everyone else already said that. ;)

This topic is kind of old.

You're right. Never mind then.
(I don't visit this forum too often, so for me it still was marked as new / unread.)
