I just want to know what people think... Is the Stream Machine good or bad? There seems to be a lot of these circulating around near where I live, so are they worth it?

It's not that great. Not worth the money, that's for sure. Unless you're 13 or older, you're not going to be able to shoot it very well anyway.
Whatever music you listen to probably sucks.

Well I'm 12, but I've got a good arm for pumping and pulling... I'm the only one on my block who can fire my old XP310 when it's at full pressure... And a lot of warriors live on my block!

They don't really look worth the money, but no-one's said they're XPBackfire-esque yet... 50-50 awesome and good, which makes 'em pretty good.

Uh, Uhnm,

I voted XPBackfire-esque, :(

EDIT: I've never used one before, that's why.

On the other hand, if you buy and use a Stream Machine, you should in theory gain muscle if you use it regularly - sounds like a good way to exercise your arm! ;)

The Stream Machine may be overpriced, but it is the best base defense money can buy (if you get the long version). When I'm holding mine, I can get to to shoot about 40 feet, and empty its 1100 ml capacity in about 3 seconds. However, when I put the bottom of the handle on the ground, aim the gun at a 45 degree angle, and use my entire weight to pull down on it, I can get it to shoot about 55 feet for a second. That's 1100 mls per second! If you can afford it, definately get a Stream Machine. They're the ultimate base defense.

I agree stream machines are good for defense but gave no use on offence. bulkyand long to carry and also you prettymuch only get one shot, but that much water will pretty much soak anyone.
Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes, that way when you criticize them your a mile away, and you have thier shoes-- someone.

There's no real potential for field battles with a Stream Machine, though. It's like a 3-second Splashzooka. :(

ok... Well base defence is what I'm looking for in the Stream Machine, and blaze, you make it sound pretty powerful if you can do that... (N.B. More output and longer range than a CPS2000&#33 ;) I'll have to see if I can get one of the longer ones.

The problem with stream machines is you always need to be near a water source, And on the other hand some shoot 70, 80 and even 100 feet. But that really depends on pure strength.

So I give it to my dad and he shoots down an airliner! ;)

So...
Pros: Massive output, long range, intimidation?
Cons: One-shot only, useless for offense.

hehe definately NOT intimidating. You should give the enemy a warning shot with my "cannon method" so they are intimidated and Don't want to enter your base. Yes it's one shot, but when you're right next to a water source, like at a base, its great anyways.

I would not be so kind as to give the enemy a warning shot! I would let them come well into range before discovering their mistake. Wait and pick them off with the first shot. For all of you that battle in fields or wooded areas, the stream machine is worthless. More so if your team isn't tied down by having a base to defend.

I meant intimidation in the way that after they see it fire, they won't mess with it, blaze.
[at]dux - I want one for CTF battles with our base right next to my hosepipe, so don't worry about the water supply
