CPS 1000 valve

Post by MilkMan » Sun May 17, 2009 10:06 pm

I opened up my CPS 1000 because I was bored this weekend.

It has a slight nozzle leak because the nozzle spring doesn't completely close the valve. I sprayed WD40 on the spring because it was really rusty. It started to move more smoothly but it still doesn't snap the rod all the way back in place when the trigger is pulled.

I can't put in the rubber band because on the CPS 1000 there's a tube perpindicular to the nozzle that lies in between the PC and the nozzle and it blocks the rubber band.

Suggestions?
"Anything with a nozzle and a pump is good enough for me." <--------------- Same lying signature 3 years and counting!

Can you use a compression spring instead? Sometimes a push is more convenient than a pull.
