Will Tank Pack and hose from other models fit the 3200?

Post by VTSoaker » Sun Jun 22, 2008 7:17 pm

I have a CPS 3200 and the tank and hose are missing.... I have been suggested on how to build one, but I am curious if a tank from another model would fit the 3200 gun???

Well you could get a big aquapack 100oz from ebay or hasbro and try to attach that although that might be kindof hard, but at least there readily available.

The 3000's backpack won't fit the 3200. To my knowledge there aren't any other 8l backpacks around - you really don't want anything less for a backpack CPS. So the advice of make your own still stands I think.

There sadly wasn't any standardized coupling until recently with the Max Infusion series of water guns, which is completely incompatible with older water guns. The backpack itself doesn't hold as much water as older backpacks either.

heres an idea I drew up in PVC designer then put into Photoshop. Its 3" PVC reducing down to whatever size hose barb works best then goes to the gun like described in that other thread?
Edit: forgot to mention that the 3 chambers of the pack are each 12" long

As Specter has said, you can always make another one. It's not hard. Read our article on the subject or Specter's post for more information.

If you're going for a hard backpack, I'd suggest using 4 inch drain pipe because it's cheap, plenty strong for this application, and lightweight when compared against normal PVC. Do the same configuration and it'll work great.
