Hey all, I'm ba-a-a-a-ack :Hey, that's funny.: ....I gave all my soakers to my cousins, and I'm heavily involved in paintball right now, but I thought I'd check out SSCentral to see how it was going, and I must say it has improved drasticly since I abandoned soaking over a year ago following the fall of the soaker ring.

The predicitions of many of the older soakers and I, and many others have come true. I was just at the official Super Soaker site, and every thing is....ugh, the CPS line and any line using the CPS technology has been passed off (unless I missed something, I just looked at the pictures).

Those goofy designs look like novelty 5 dollar soakers dollar stores pawn off, its horrible.

welcome back, even though I Don't know you....

do you play airsoft too?

they still have the cps 4100 on amazon. and cps 2100's in sports authority's. everyone is disappointed at the new blasters. hopefully hasbro will see their sales and recosider putting cps as their main line again.

Im beginning to get involved with Airsoft, but that will not stop me from having a war on a very hot day. The fandom as of now is regrowing, with Hasbros spectacular (sarcasm) blasters, the loss of WWN, and the failure of a few smaller sites. But all in all the fandom has a ray of hope with Buzz Bee Toys, and expects a good deal from them next year. IMO, buzz Bee Toys kind curiosity of the fanbase and our will to soak is whats been keeping us alive, oh, and dedicated people who run forums and great websites.

Thats exactly what they are. The Vaporizer costs $5.

I remember you. It was back when my name was spikey. I left right before sniper joined, if you remember that. Does paintballing really hurt as much as everyone says it does?

if airsoft actually reaches your skin, (even through clothes), it will probably sting more than a paintball through the same clothes. on the other hand, airsoft bb's (6mm) are too small to hurt through baggy jeans. (ae morrison&#33 ;)

You can pretty much ignore the times on that, I rarely ever have Xfire on when I play. I should, though.

It doesn't hurt that bad, I usually play with a sleeveless shirt (too freakin hot out, its worth the hurt).

paintball hurts a lot more than airsoft. if you get hit at 50ft with an airsoft gun on clothes, it may sting a bit. however, paintballs go as fast or faster than airsoft bbs. the paintball weighs much more than the bb, so there is more force behind the paintball so it may leave a bruise.

A traditional BB-gun shoots out metal-ball berring like-things using air pressure/ springs. Airsoft is basically the same thing, only less powerful, and uses plastic BB's.

What kind of a suit do you use in battles? Or do you even fight with these...?

What do you mean suit? Are you talking about airsoft?
You wear a paintball or airsoft mask, and heavy clothes such as jeans and sweatshirts.

in airsoft you Don't need much protection. just wearing your bdu's (battle dress uniform) most airsoft fields require it, will provide enough protection. and you also need eye protection. goggles if you want comfortable aim with ironsights, and a full face mask if you Don't want to look like this guy
