I saw it today, and was going to try it out when I noticed that it's only for Windows XP/2000 - so looks like I'll have to wait.

Well, you can use several other clients, so it wasn't a problem for me. From what I know, it uses the open-source Jabber network.

GAIM is a very good program - I can use more networks than I know of. ;)

I use Trillian. It's great. I also use Gaim, but just not as much.

This looks more like a Skype clone to me.

Trillian's what I use for accessing the AIM, YIM, and IRC networks. I wanted to actually use Google's program, though - Trillian is sluggish for me and Google have a very good reputation for turning out quality free products.

Darn Windows ME...

It seems like Google doesn't support it at all. They have stuff for 2000, but not for ME.
Rereading these forums make me feel old >.<

I mainly use Trillian. Ever since I got hit with the recent AIM virus, I've been using Trillian instead. I usually only connect to AIM, as I know very few YIM names and no MSN or ICQ names.

My GAIM name is rwebbe.

Okay, let me set this straight: GAIM has no affiliation with Google. GAIM can use the Google network however. If any acronym would be made, GT would be best. ;)

Windows ME can use the 2000 stuff.

GAIM is a Linux AIM client. GnomeAIM, shortened.

I'll try and make a plugin for Google Talk for Trilly.
