Hello!
Hi! I've been looking around this site for a while now, just decided to register. I am not new to water guns, although I could use some improvement. I also have a question about This homemade before I build it. How does it pump?

Hello, and welcome to Super Soaker Central.
The 2 Liter Homemade is basically a primitive QFD-only soaker that has one big shot per tank. When you plug in a hose to the tube behind the hose handle/nozzle, the water pressure will compress the air inside the 2L bottle. Then you squeeze the trigger/handle and all the water is released--but be warned that, to my knowledge, the performance is marginal.

Most of the time is shoots nearly all of the water.m15399 wrote:It does not shoot all the water at once... At least to my knowledge. There's no reason it should launch all the water at once. It should get a decent stream for a few seconds.
Don't get the wrong impression however - this water gun is more interesting than useful. Fun to play with, but you wouldn't get away with using it in a war for very long unless you designed a larger system.

In my opinion, the best choice (by far) is to build a standard APH or another homemade soaker, and have an attachment similar to that of this 2 Liter model. That way, you can use the hose for quick pressurization, and you'll also have a larger PC, a larger reservoir that can be used to pump on-the-fly, and much better performance. You'll be much happier with a standard homemade soaker.
