IMO it shouldn't be the power of the CPS 2000 that makes it legendary... it should be the insane range. I have never owned one (I wish I did...) but from what I've heard only modded soakers can even touch the range of the Mk.2

^^^^39-42ft. flat for any watergun is incredible, which makes the CPS 2000 the ultimate One Hit Kill weapon.

Usually I hate dead topics that come back from the grave (this one is 2 months old FFS) but I guess it's a worthy topic...

I tested my 2000 again today. The Range is somewhere around 35 feet flat. Angled it could get the 50 foot range advertised on I-soaker.

well, now I have a mk1 2000, yay. (ebay) it is definatly noticalby more powerful then a 2000 mk2, and their pressure chambers are compeltly different(the mik1 and mk2) on the mark 1 the PC is much shorter and a smaller outer diameter, whereas the mk2 has a longer PC and bigger OD, like the 2500. The 2000mk1 pressure chamber is like no other PC that I have ever seen.Range wise, it gets about 55 feet at an angle, and about 40-45 flat. but, when I put my 2000 and 12k flat on the ground parralel to the ground and shoot, the 12k stream goes 5-10 feet farther. Thats because the 12k shoots faster, but since it doesn't stay coherent, it doesn't match the 2000 in range when fired at an angle.

o, the other day I got my first taste of the cps 1000, the nozzle is huge, it's like a riot blast that has good range, and badly, this has a bad ending, everyone, I got soaked.it was the cps 1000 [him] against me, the xp 240.Then I took the 1000 and he got the chain gun, the hose.

Could someone please make a review of the 2000 and make some stats? I would appreciate it a lot.

I'll make a review of my 2000 Mk.2 if you tell me what you need. I'm sure pepper would be happy to do the same with his Mk.1

No, just distract it and wait for the tank to run out. Then move in for the kill.

According to the nexus review, the tank runs out very fast and it will even need more pumping than the MXL. The shot time is not very long either. But its the power and stream thickness that makes it so famous. If you can duck or shield yourself from that powerful stream, you can waste the CPS 2000 user while he/she is pumping or runing out of water.
