mealting/glass/metal working

does any 1 know the mealting temp or range of glass? I need them to be almost right so no gussing :P :mellow:

I think it depends on the glass. I know I have melted glass in some of my fires that I make for fun, so I don't think it's so high.

did you use oil or just wood? I dono about the fire I had going friday. I heared you can tell by the color :unsure: if so this thing was nearly white.I can't relly explane it so go on MS paint and doble click on any of the colors and click on "Define Custom Colors" and type this in the proper feald

Sat:240
Lum:213
-------------
Red:255
Green:252
Blue:198

thats if you want to know how close to white it was .I never knew how hot you can make a fire by hooking a gas leaf blower to a pipe that sends the air under and in to it. :rolleyes: :nugget:

It was wood, but very large. I'd say at least 500 degrees F.

I bet it was hoter then that it melted thoes air craft aluminium beams im talking
desentisy of metal they use for car and truck frames I fired it up agen and I wasable to heat up iron where it glowed and was bendable

I did use bug spray and rubbing alcohol sometimes. I think you should ask a glass blower or do a Google search, because I have no clue. :Hey, that's funny.:
