Sainsbury's seem to be stocking a few blasters. I can't recall the prices but I remember they had a couple of WW guns, including, I think, a repackaged Blazer, under the name of the Defender or something Expedition (thanks kvdude).

yes, the WW guns you were thinking of were: The barracada and the expedition (the recolored blazer). The expedition works really well, with a few minor leaks and at only £13

Hmm, just noticed this deal - a Flash Flood with backpack thrown in for £19.99. Probably not a bad deal if you haven't got a Flash Flood.

Just to let everyone know (who doesn't already) Argos have binned all water guns except the Flash Flood + backpack in their new catalog.

Yeah. It sucks that they bring out the 'autumn-winter' catalogue at the start of August.
To be honest much of the retail industry is ahead of the proper seasons. In wanting to be first with the new stuff, they stop selling the old when it's still wanted. Women's clothes are the worst. Try buying a summer dress in the middle of August - not a chance. Diaries are awful too - if it's any later than mid-August, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a current diary, all that are in stock are next year's.

Re: 2009 UK Blasters
They've been clearing out water warfare material in stores everywhere now. I saw a slingshot launcher a while ago at Meijer, came back to the same place just a few days ago, and all they have left are a few Pulse Masters. More annoying was all the space being taken up by back to school materials in the middle of freaking July. Who the heck would stock up that early?

Do Toys 'R' Us sell ANY Super Soakers at all now? Because I couldn't find anything on their website...

Re: 2009 UK Blasters
Well, if you're talking about Super Soakers proper (not Water Warriors water guns), they may not have advertised them at all this season – I hear even Toys 'R Us has (finally?) ditched Hasbro.
Edit: Never mind. This search brings up a couple results. It's possible that they've just left the old pages up while removing the links to them, making it harder to stumble upon them while browsing, though.

Sorry, I mean in the UK - I don't think they've done water guns at all recently (except Fisher Price...)
