Well I believe NIB means "New in box" so maybe "BNIB" means "brand new in box"?

I don't know for sure, just a guess.

Yep, it's Brand New in Box. I hadn't heard of it either, so I checked acronymfinder.com.

'Brand New In Box'. Which is redundant, because if it's been removed from the box, it's not 'brand new'.
