After screwing it back together again since I have a war this afternoon I decided to try shoot it with the cap off. It shot about 5 or 6 feet farther on 5X. On 10X I didn't record lengths but I knew it also went farther.
Why is this? (not that I'm complaining)
And if I were to leave the cap off, would it damage or hurt anything?

Its shooting further probably because it has less length to go which means less turbulance. I think turbulance of the stream directly effects stream lamination. with better cohesion, the stream can go a little farther.
P.S. Correct me if I'm wrong, Im not possitive on this.
