Where can I buy?

Post by nocomment111 » Sat Feb 04, 2006 7:03 pm

I Live in the u.k. and would like one of the older, more powerful soaker. I was just wondering if ebay is my only option and if there are no other shops that sell the older ones. Thanks in advance

P.S. I would not mind buying it from an American site if i had to.

Sorry man, ebay's your only option. Older guns are a rare sight these days...

EDIT: By the way, don't fall for a fake gun like this:

Thanks

Ebay it is.

I cant seem to find any of the bigger older models on ebay at the moment. I realise that this could be down to the fact it is the middle of winter here. If I were to watch ebay from now until summer should any bigger guns show up? How often do bigger guns get put on ebay?

thanks

cool site by the way.

You will definetly find more Super Soakers as summer approaches. Yeah, I noticed right now that there aren't any soakers in the CPS line at the moment. You'll just have to wait. Here's common search I'll run on ebay to find a CPS: Super Soaker CPS*. Good luck!

You would find much more powerful guns but expect to pay alot more. Right now is when the best bargians can be found. I got a 2500 a couple days ago for $23.50.

I got one of the last ones, the 2500 I just mentioned

If you watched it for that long, you would find some very nice guns, and hopefully pick up some very nice guns at some very nice prices. Like 25% or more under market value. There are lots more low closes than most people think. Even in the middle of the summer, you would be surprised at what you can find. Like a CPS 2000 for $41 last summer, the one I couldn't bid on because it was Paypal only...

Yeah, you can find some good deals. I've found a few. By the way what's wrong with paypal? When my dad used his ebay account to buy soakers that was the only way he would pay.

EDIT: It changed B T W to "i'm a new guy". What in the world?

I didn't have a Paypal account then.

The word filter changes certain abbreviations to other phrases. Like when you see "and I'm too lazy to add the apostrophe." Nobody types that, it is the filter of "don't" or other word if they forgot the apostrophe. That is what happens to AIM talk like b t w, l o l, etc.

I've actually just recently removed those word filter things. While they may be funny to the current membership, I don't think that they will be taken lightly later on. Some people also have complained to me via PM... I suppose people will complain about anything instead of using 4 more keystrokes to do something correct. Then again, their argument was about the filter's result, so I changed it.

I realise that most of you come from the US and probably buy your guns from http://www.ebay.com

Because i'm here in the uk i use

http://www.ebay.co.uk

They are different and a listing on ebay.com will not show up on ebay.co.uk.

So are there may water guns on .co.uk as opposed to .com

Unfortunately not. However, some do crop up, and there are some good bargains to be had on eBay UK if you keep your eyes open. I am also in the UK, by the way.

Well thanks. I just keep a look at both ebay.com and ebay.co.uk .

If anyone in the U.K. has an older water gun that they no longer use I would be happy to buy it from them. (If i'm not allowed to say this I'm sorry). I'm sure this will have been asked loads of times but just in case.

Thanks again

It's fine to ask whether anyone has a gun for sale, but it's probably best in that case to make a topic in the "Wanted" sub-section of the "Buy/Sell" forum. Try detailing exactly which models you want, as well. ;)
