Whatsup everyone,
I recently began lookin into super soakers, have been going around looking for some waterguns. However, after searching all K-marts, Targets, K-B Toys, and Toysrus's, and Sports Authorities I have not been successful at all in finding any good guns. The best I could do (and only) was the CPS 2100. I live in northern New Jersey. Can anyone help me out here, or is ebay the only way to get those guns. These are several questions.
1. Will they have the "good guns" (as in high power, useful in war, etc.) later as summer rolls by?
2. I am especially interested in the Monster X, are they off the stores shelves now?
3. Any other places I can check out in the New Jersey-New York area.
It would be great to hear some advice....Thanks.

1. No new really"good guns"(CPS) have been produced since 2003 by Super Soaker. The CPS4100 reissue is the last one, but limited I stores. And the Blazer or Armor-Dillo by Water Warriors is an option, but are not that often in stores.1. Will they have the "good guns" (as in high power, useful in war, etc.) later as summer rolls by?

2. Your best choice is ebay.
3. Check out every ToysRus for left over stock. Smae with any other store. Other than that, its ebay.

The CPS 2100 was $9.99 at The SA, so I got myself one (there were a XPBackfire-esqueload of them). I guess its something to start with. I'm a cannon-type lover, and I guess I will continue my search for the Monster X on ebay. (dang...they go for a crazy price....) I still questions me....why are the "good guns" running away from the shelves? It's not like they're a XPBackfire-esquepy toy not bringing Hasbro any revenue.....why..why...why? (By the way, WHY are they becoming more and more scarce?)
P.S.: Be nice and think of me before bidding on a Monster X on ebay...just kiddin. Everyone searching for a Monster X, good luck...may the best win Hey, that's funny..

I said this last summer, but I found some discontinued soakers at a Candian Tire up by my cottage, a CPS 1500, a CPS 3100(! , and a Monster X. Their price tags were crazy (the 1500 costed $25.00 cdn) and I forgot my wallet so I was forced to give them a miss. I also found some Max-D Secret Strikes lurking on some back shelves in a small store for $18.99 cdn. I might be able to find something at Toys R Us but I doubt it.

Well little kids aren't the only ones who enjoy soakers. In fact, I'm sure that they will learn a lesson (hopefully) when they lose sales on these XPBackfire-esque soakers and smarten up next year, because if they don't *makes childish lazer beam sound effects*

Remember how I said that I found CPS2100s at $9.99? Well, I was checking ebay and came across a CPS2100 that is going for $15.50. There were like at least 60 on the shelves of The Sports Authority, so I thought maybe buy couple more and sell them on ebay. But then again (never sold before, just bought) seems like a tedious process. Would the process be worth the profit? Please give me your ideas. Thanks.

well, you really should get paypal verified to sell, and that's a pain - you really have to open a new checking account and regularly sweep it unless you really want to give paypal your primary checking acct. number. also, you have to be verified with ebay, so you can pay them to list your item. it takes a while, but then it's done and you can sell whenever you want.
