Me and my HWO are considering halving the cost of the Helix between us - doing that means we don't risk much in the event of it being useless: this will be the first time I try out a Piston-based soaker.

But I would like to know if anyone has tried it yet. Is it any good? And what is it like compared to the Vaporizer (which isn't available to me, incidentally)?

I don't think any of us have really bought into the 2004's yet. although, according to hasbro, the helix creates a "spinning stream" so it should be rifled.
"I used to care, but now I take a pill for that."

You can pretty much ignore the times on that, I rarely ever have Xfire on when I play. I should, though.

Sorry, what's 'rifling'?

Here is a good thread about the Soaker Tag Helix. Hands on Helix

As for the Soaker Tag Vaporizer, no one has tried it yet.

Rifling is putting a screw in the pressure chamber (or is it the trigger valve?) to make the stream spin. No one has really tried it yet. As for the Helix being rifled, it isn't. It spins by having the nozzle rotate as you pump.

What's the use of rifling in hard terms of range, power, etc?

The only good soaker this year is the Triple Aggressor(3A). As for the Helix, I doubt they rifled it, the nozzle probably spins, possibly they they wanted us, the most extreme water warriors, to think it was rifled.

Sorry about not being on at all yesterday, I had lots of homework and a track meet.

I have proven superstormer wrong. I own the helix and it is AWESOME!
The range is pretty bad, Like 10 ft bad, but the power is cool, seriously, its cool

If the range is like 10 feet then it isn't very good, anything gets better range than that. Can you turn the spinning off?

it is AWESOME!
I would not agree with that. But then range is so important to me.

Oh, and you can't turn the spinning off without modyfying the internals. <_<

It isnt my favorite gun, but if it had good range it would be. But why would you turn of the spinning, if you set the mode to where the nozzles were close together it packs some serious power, I got shot by my brothers and it HURT!

EDIT: don't think you meant 15,000, unless you k modded it without telling everybody... -Neobird

EDIT #2: Was I supposed to tell everyone? Yes, I did K mod it.

when did I say it was bad? and you actually proved me wrong and I said that, u would actually need proof. That's why its called PROVING wrong!

Oh and a range of 10feet totally is aweful, even if it is powerful.

Rifling has never been tried! And you didn't prove anything! And you inferred that I said it was bad.
