Going on what's available in the UK, I'd say look out for a Storm 500 dual pack; Woolworths stocked them, you might find them there.

I've never used one, but it's decent enough from what I've heard. I've heard they're around as well, if you find any let us know how much they cost! ;)

Which one is better, the storm 500 double pack, or the max-D 3000 double pack?

Are you looking for a backup (an alternate primary weapon) or a sidearm (a secondary weapon)? These seem to be backups, which are just lighter weapons that you can pull out if you need to or for special cases (greater range, greater output, etc.). Sidearms, however, can be used easily at the same time as your primary weapon; I think of the SC Big Trouble and the SC Power Pak as sidearms, as they don't require you to pump multiple weapons. The Splashzooka, however, is too heavy/clumsy to be used with one arm.

I'm thinking about either modding a Power Pak or creating a backpack SC homemade that is strapped onto your weaker hand in such a way that you can pump the primary weapon without holding on to the sidearm. Basically, the only thing that isn't on the back of your arm is the trigger.

Sorry about that, I meant Backup. To me a side arm is like a pistol in real warfare. i.e. you use it when you run out of ammo for your primary weapon and it is at your side.

Aye, that's what I think of as a sidearm. A backup could be of any size, but a sidearm is smaller.

One of my favorite sidearms that I own is the Storm 690E, but I doubt that you will be able to find one easily, seeing as it is about 4 years old...
