New Super Soaker on ebay

Post by SEAL » Sat Nov 13, 2010 5:08 pm

I don't know if this should go in the Marketplace forum or not, but this appears to be a new Super Soaker, so I think this should go here.

I was looking up Super Soakers on ebay, and I found something called a Nerf Super Soaker Thunderstorm.

Here's the link to the ebay page.

It appears to be a motorized soaker, that bears resemblance to the Saturator water gun line. At least it has a trigger, but motorized? Seriously?!

The guy says it's "the latest addition to the SS line", but I'm wondering how he even got one. I looked on Hasbro's website, and I haven't found it. That's also an obscenely high price.

Very mysterious...

Just what we need. Hasbro is going back to the motorized 80s.
I don't see a pump, so either its motorized, or squirt pistol.
Hasbro has lost the will to live.

The last few guns that hasbro has released, nerf or SS, have all been motorized. Don't they know that water + electricity = bad?!?

On the other hand, the clip is kind of cool.

Hahaha, nice idea...

Claim you have the lates Super Soaker, sell it for a crazy price and laugh at the customer, who paid lots of money for nothing...

I have never seen this, it does not seem that powerful either...And this price, tztztz

We could ask isoaker_com if he wants to buy it and then provide information on isoaker.net about this gun ? :D

Hmm... motorized water gun with a clip that runs on 4 AA batteries... we've returned to the 1980s. I can only hope it performs better than the 1980 water guns, but that remains to be seen. As for blowing $120 USD on something that likely comes out in a few more months, sure! As long as it's not *MY* money! *hah* :p

I'm basically about to post what I already said on iSoaker.net

This is aweful. At least it is if it performs as bad as the Saturators. If it has better performance, it might be an okay choice for Assasins, but I can't imagine that being okay in a soakfest. Also, the clips probably don't hold much water.

However, this might be a good blaster to modify, If the intake tube is inside the clip, you could modify the clip to be bigger. You could also do Electric power mods and moter replacements.

In short, the SS brand has already sold out. Don't expect anything even half-useful for a water war to be available in the next year or so. It's all up to BBT now.

Well, the auction ends in 3 days, so I'll post an image of the blaster so we can see it after the auction ends.

Here you go.

I wonder what else we'll see this upcoming year...

Try 0.9, then we're getting somewhere.

But until then, may the possibly existing gods bless the work of Buzz Bee Toys for all eternity....or at least until I make a SC.

This is a fail against my CPS 1700. :p

Back to the 80's indeed. Larami, where are you now?
Resistance is futile. You will be soakinated.

Larami is turning and turning in its grave and the Soaker cemetary... :D

Well, I nearly have ALL CPS EVER MADE, so when I am feeling sad because of the new Soakers I just go and open my Larami CPS storage----> HAPPY AGAIN
