You could always subscribe to the news forum. It should email you the topics.

you could just write for aquaticas newsletter... I think they would take any submissinos they can get =D
but yeah as it currently is, there are too few people willing to write to get more than one newsletter going. <= just my oppinion =D but yeah it seems if any one wanted to write for aquatica that shouel be cool
that or jsut throw in in the news section =D

There just isn't Enough Info, or enough activity in ANY waterwarfare community, at the moment, to keep up a decent newsletter.

Yeah. Maybe in a while when we have like 100 active members and then we could and most likely will have a newsletter.

The problem with newsletters and such lies in the disposition of the overall membership. In the old Aquatica (Yahoo! group days) there was enough information flow and articles coming from just a few members. This only lasted a while, but while it was good it WAS good. I attribute this to the greater interest in actual wars and war stories held by the members then. With greater interest in the battle itself, and less on the weapons, there was more excitement and more material to write with (war stories etc). Over time, though, the overall feeling of the community has changed, and, (as the age range has gotten lower) so has the commitment and maturity. XN (XN who?) used to speak about him, M4, Budgie, SSP, etc as being the second generation of online waterwar enthuisiasts. I think we've now moved onto the third generation this year, with lots of newer sites and members coming on board. During this change, the interest has waned in the wars and has moved to talk all about the "new cool guns, omg!" Anways, now I'm just rambling on, so I'll shutup now. What I'm saying primarily comes from talking w/older members and not purely from personal experience since I've only been around the "online soaker community" for a year or so now.

So invite all your friends to SSCentral, write articles and we might be able to have a newsletter.
