Re: APH PC idea
I had a similar idea a little while ago. It would definitely work, but whether or not it would work well, I can't really tell you, because I haven't actually tried it. I doubt it would perform any better then the normal design though.

I would probably only look better if you had 3/4" X 2" tees. I'm not sure if they make them or not, but they would be better 'cause you wouldn't have to get bushings and reducers, which, in my opinion, wouldn't look as nice.
I would go well with maybe like a super heavy APH that uses 3" pipe for most of it's body.

Bad idea. Consider what happens when the blaster is angled. Air is at the front of the PC, water at the back. The forward elbow will allow all that air to vent out without shooting any water.
If, however, you block up the front elbow and the tee, leaving only the rear elbow open for water flow, then it will work well.

You still need to take out that middle tee as well. A horizontal air pressure chamber must have its only outlet at the lower rearmost point.

EDIT: sorry SEAL, i didnt see your post. they make 2"to 3/4" bushings, so yea. no worries there.

Why? Cantab said if you remove the middle tee, it will perform better when angled, ie the middle tee will let air through to the nozzle before the back tee would.

I know they make bushings, what I meant was 3/4" X 2" tees. Because in my opinion, it wouldn't look as good with bushings. (Actually, bushings wouldn't work here unless you have a coupler.)
Anyway, I was wrong when I said I thought it would work. I've never tried it before, and I didn't take the air pocket into account.
