What Water Gun Should I Buy?
I need a high quality water gun for a game of Assassin.
Any recommendations? I would be willing to buy a homemade or modified water gun.

Re: What Water Gun Should I Buy?
Avoid most things by Super Soaker - although the Hydro Fury is an option for a very compact blaster. EDIT: Correction, avoid most NEW things by Super Soaker. The Max-D, XP, and CPS lines are good.
For a slightly larger pistol, most of the Water Warriors offerings are good.
For a heavyweight blaster, look to the top end of the Water Warriors line, like the Ultimate Vanquisher, or the Gorgon.
All current blasters, however, are outstripped by the CPSes from what might be called the golden age, and also by homemades. But homemades tend to be rather bulky.

Th best thing currently offered by hasbro is the Soaker wars version of the MD6k. It is too large for a holdout, but it is light with good power.
The smaller MD's (2k and 3k) are pretty much perfect for assassins, and a very cheap on ebay. (they are generally called max O on ebay for some reason)
This looks like it would be perfect.

Pessimist: These blasters hold no water
Optimist: But their small output means they last just as long
Marketing: Huge blasts of water!
user: I shot it at an angle and it went a whole ten feet!

I would reccomend a Storm 750, but seeing as those are really hard to find, a Max-D 2000 should be perfect for the job.
I reject your reality and substitute my own.

A Max-D 3000 is easier to find. I've seen them at local stores, 2-pack for about the same cost. They changed the colors a bit though.
The Gorgon outstrips all other current water blasters by far. Huge water reservoir and five nozzles. Drill out one of the smaller nozzles and you can choose from water-saver mode to complete overkill.

He was looking for a concealable weapon, but good news about the gorgon. I guess we have at least two weapons that can *cough* "compete"

The "ultimate vanquisher" which is an air pressure vanquisher with more nozzles.

Re: What Water Gun Should I Buy?
it has like 5oz of PC capacity, which is crap for a gun that size, unless it has good power, like the PM.
The gorgon and maybe the sphinx are the only new guns that are worth it.
