The power of the MXL is o.k. It's power is a little bit less than the MX. But when it comes to soakge, nothing rivals the MXL. Not even the legendary CPS 2000. The CPS 2000 has a 20x nozzle(Some say it's 30x, but people who own it said it's 20x). The MXL nozzle has two 11.5x nozzles. That adds up to a 23x nozzle when shot. And if you use the power burst nozzles, the stream is even whider than 23x. So if fast soakage is your thing, the MXL is a must.
Also, according to the Aqua-Nexus website, the 11.5x measures more like a 15x compared to the nozzle size of the old CPS soakers. This would mean that according to old CPS models the MXL dual nozzles are like a 30x nozzle. And if you have 2 MXLs, the water battles get interesting. You can take on 4 or 5 people at ones who have also CPS soakers(if they don't have a MX, MXL, CPS 2000, CPS 2500, CPS 3000 and CPS 3200 of course). Not to mention what you can do to someone who only has XPs or Max-Ds. And unloading two MXLs at one person, is quite something.
The interesting thing is, that a MXLs are being sold over $60 USD on ebay. I might sell one of mine.
