The CPS 4100 is exactly like a Monster (2001), except for one difference; the Monster is QFD capable. Go with the Monster; also, it is more durable from what I've heard.

A k-mod is an extremely powerful mod (that you can only do on CPS) where you place balloons on a spherical PC. You can't do a K-mod to a Monster or CPS 4100. You can however collosus it. You take bike tubes and rap them around the cylindrical PC inside the gun.

Welcome to Super Soaker Central Cyberninjitsu. Please read our Rules and our website. A link to the K-mod is on every page of our website, and what the K-mod does is extremely well known and answered in the second sentence of the article: it increases the power of a spherical pressure chamber CPS Super Soaker.

This is a forum Cyberninjitsu - you have time to write out your posts. "sorry" and "2" are unnecessary and frowned upon. I am adding "sorry" to our word filter, but please avoid such AOL-style writing. I will upgrade your member account when you follow our rules, so please, follow them! :)

I would get the Monster Super Soaker (2001) for the QFD feature. Most everything else is the same or similar.

Edit: Just a note to anyone reading this before. "Sorry" above was "sry." It seems odd after it was filtered.

According to some reviews the CPS 4100 is less durable as the Monster due to a trigger problem that will come after heavy use. Problems include that some triggers won't close the valve correctly which is anoying, while some triggers snap of which is more anoying. Plus the Monster has a better colour combo, which I guess would be more a taste issue. But yeah, if you can buy any of them get the Monster. Collectebility wise, the Monster is 3 times as much worth aswell.

The Monster '01 has a QFD port, although that is the only significant difference and I personally don't think QFDs are of any use. If you plan to battle where there is a hose, get the Monster. If you don't battle near any hoses, either gun is fine. BTW, only the Mark 2 CPS 4100 has those infamous trigger problems. If you don't know the difference between 4100 marks [versions], then you at least have a 50/50 chance of getting a good, durable one.

It's always nice to have the QFD option in case you happen to have a battle near a hose, so go for the Monster. Also, I like the Monster's colour scheme over the CPS 4100, but that's obviously subjective. :D

In other words, stick with the Monster.
