In my youth I had a quite special water gun, on the top it had a mounting for a soda can.
You popped it in place, and a little needle punctured the can.
When shaken, the pressure built up and it was a functional water gun.
I'm on the lookout for such a gun, if anyone has heard of it, gimme a heads up and maybe a product name

That's a really neat idea, and I'm a little disappointed I've never encountered one of those. I'd be a little concerned about the sugary liquid left behind (and probably flat and warm by the time you got around to drinking it, if at all) and about spills, it's still a novel idea.
Was this a mass-produced item? When did you get yours?

That's the reason someone threw it away (prolly my mother :< ) It jammed due to cola clogging up the pipes.
It must have been mass produced, due to it's design. It was pretty thought-through and easy to use. I had it back in maybe 1996-1998, not really sure.
