A spell check feature has been added. Good spelling is mandatory as of now. Please, use this feature. After all, I added it to improve spelling here. Feel free to do a few tests.

Also, suggested words to add to the dictionary should be posted here. We do have our own special words that most won't recognize. ;)

Yes! I've always thought a spell check would be helpful, considering how many of us are not gifted in the art of spelling. :Hey, that's funny.:

Not perfect, that's the results after torturing "These things aren't very accurate" into "Thse thngs arent vry accrate"
"I used to care, but now I take a pill for that."

You can pretty much ignore the times on that, I rarely ever have Xfire on when I play. I should, though.

Can you please add the British spellings of favourite and behaviour. Can't we add them ourselves using the learn button?

Hopefully now, there won't be any misspellings of congratulations as "congradulations" and strategy as "stradegy" (those two really annoy me).
Hey, images in sigs work again! Woo!

Yes, but I believe that adds them to your personal list, not the global forum list. It is that way to prevent people from adding words that shouldn't be to the larger dictionary.

Also, as long as the people know what they mean, they'll choose the correct word likely. I wasn't saying it's perfect, I know very well that there's really no way it can know what we mean. But it is a large improvement.

Favourite and behaviour have been added.

How about adding 'CPS' and 'eBay'... ;)

Edit: Added.

Just noticed, spell check doesn't do smilies. There's fixed, though, ph34r is apparently still has trouble, I am investigating how to make it recognize it.

I realize that this violates my own rule, but it's only 54 pixels too wide and I'm an admin (so hah). :P

After a bit of testing, I think that the spell checker doesn't recognize forum names unless you use a common word/words as your alias. It certainly doesn't recognize Duxburian. :P

Well duh. As much as we like to be formal on this forum, we use a lot of weird shortened words/word frazes such as, btw, IMO, and other things like that. The spell check is to give a small helping hand in spelling right. Don't expect it to be a cool and wild new tool.

Edit: While we're at it, it's phrase, not fraze. :P
