Homemades with stock parts?

Post by Teh Moron » Mon Jul 20, 2009 11:08 pm

Since there is obviously some difficulty in making a homemade pump, would it be feasible to take part of a piston soaker and attach it to your homemade soaker as a pump? I'm curious why anyone hasn't attempted it yet.

It's been done several times. I've used the pump from my broken FF before, someone else has used a vaporizer pump, while another used the pump from a SC400. However, in most cases, the gun is working perfectly fine, and buying water guns for their pumps is not really feasible.

It's feasible if they're cheap piston pumpers. The 'big syringe' type should be usable with minimum effort.

You could use actual syringes, if you know how to get hold of some.
I work on Windows. My toolbox is Linux.
