I'm back

Post by Godzillasoaker65 » Sun Sep 18, 2005 1:37 am

Sorry i've been gone so long. When you made the forum switch my email was messed up, so I couldn't reset my acount, and whenever I tried to make a new email, I always was busy, so I couldn't till now. If it's not too much trouble can someone transfer my posts to this acount, and make all my old posts user names my new account?

thanks, Zilla65

I've changed the email addresses, merged the accounts (into Godzillasoaker65) and sent out a password reminder. Let me know if this doesn't work for you. ;)

Haha... old thread, but I also havn't been on here in ages. Luckily I still have the same email so I could reset my password.

Havn't built a soaker in months, I still do sometimes, but I spend the majority of my time riding bikes - trials and freeride.

I'll try to add something constructive to the tech sections like I used to (atleast i thought it was constructive... ).

Welcome back!

The L-OL filter is a joke. If you'd like it removed, I could easily do so.

I sure thought what you said was constructive. Please post more often if you can!

Many veterans have returned today. This is good, since everyone has been talking about how many veterans have left this summer.

I don't really care about the filter, it was just unexpected.

I will have to make another homemade again someday... something rediculous. I wish there were air compressors that could safely put out 150-200PSI that were readily available - and not 100's of dollars.

I still have a good tank made from a reinforced pop bottle. Wrapped in fibreglass tape with PL Premium (which is as good or better than epoxy, just that it takes days to dry). Its pretty sturdy, a normal bottle bursts at about 125-130PSI, this one should take about 250.

Then I need valves and large diam. hosing that can handle the pressure... it all becomes so difficult when you get above 100PSI. Plus i'd need more than 1 of the reinforced bottles.

Someday... when I have the money and time it will happen.

I am not trying to be a pest, but it didn't work. I haven't been able to say anything because i haven't been on my computer. I think my email is dilbertlg2@netscape.net, but i got the old one(dilbertlg@netscape.net) to work but there isn't an email there from anyone here, and i can't find the thing to reset your account. I'm just really confused. Any help will be aprecciated.

Hmmm, I'll look into this. Looking at the addresses, are you sure your old email address ends in .net?

Yes, but if there's any way to change the email adresses it would be better because i think there's something wrong with the old one. It got really confusing, because Netscape used to be .Net, and they swithched to .Com, yet when i made a new email you'd think it would be Dilbertlg2@netscape.com, but it stayed at .Net.
