Well it seems so, Super Soaker is realasing absolute garbage targeted at kids and they are full of gimics. Buzz Bee brought their a game this year an now are catching up with the original cps line.

I have to agree. Although they are the original water gun powerhouse, Water Warriors is simply blowing them out of the water; no pun intended. With the Vindicator and Pulse series with more. SS had to resort to bringing back an old gun hoping to get them out of the slump. They have Max-D's and Flash Floods however, Nothing they've put out, at the moment, can stand up to the Buzz Bee arsenal. It may seem impossible, but I desperately want to see SS come back. It's jus, unlikely.

Screw brand names good quality is good quality and competition is the best way to get good quality, If the public as a whole starts going for WW over SS then SS will have to start bringing back there A game which WW will try to top and SS will try to top -that- rince repeat and give my children The CPS line in 10-15 years.

I've read several times that many engineers working for Johnson R&D migrated to Buzz Bee Toys, soon after Hasbro bought Super Soaker from Larami. Big Bee, one of the top employees there, has also posted in the forums before. I feel comfortable supporting people who care about water guns enough to start a new company, watch the community, and design good soakers. :)

Hasbro still makes money off of selling there horrible water guns. If buzz bee targets us they will only make more money if the quality of their water guns brings a new level of interest to the sport.

BB toys are catching up to recent ss.

But 1990 ss will dominate BB forever.

I think BB toys have already passed recent ss

They are caching up to the SS from the 90's
At least thats my opinion.

Nope, FF outshoots Vindicator. Something wrong with Vindicator's design prevents it from reaching higher powers (but better than orca)

It depends on who you hear it from. I guess some Vindicators are built better than others.

I have yet to get my hands on one though so I'll leave judgment to them.

Technologically, Water Warriors are better, and even rival the smaller CPSes (1000, 1200 and 2100).

However, that's not what matters. What matters is who's selling most. And I don't know the answer to that - though in the UK, it does seem like Water Warriors tend to have the presence in the supermarkets.
I work on Windows. My toolbox is Linux.
Arsenal:
Super Soaker: XP215, 2xXP220, Liquidator, Aquashock Secret Strike M(odded), Arctic Blast M, CPS1200, CPS2100, SC Power Pak, 3l aquapack, 1.5l aquapack
Water Warriors: Jet, Sting Ray M, Shark, Argon M, Tiger Shark, PulseMaster
Others: Waterbolt, The Blaster, Storm 500, Shield Blaster 2000, generic PR gun, generic backpack piston pumper (broken), 3l garden sprayer M, 10l water carrier:

Well, I do know that the vindicator does get better range and is more powerfull. The flash flood is a good gun no doubt but not yet ready to be compared to the bb vindicator. p.s. anyone else but me buy n' try the pulse blaster yet? Simply amazing in my mind. Better range than the ss 50, convinient bursts, and how.
Armoury:
Pulse Blaster, Sneak Attack, Max D 2000, SplashFire, Triple Shot

"Not yet ready" may be poor word choice. The Flash Flood has been around, and unchanged, for years...sadly it doesn't look like they're going anywhere with it. I agree it's a good water gun, though.
