"Yarr, Super Soakers are meant as toys to just play with in your backyard, NEVER to be opened or altered!"
Get a grip, Larami/Hasbro can name a product "Xtreme Power", that doesn't mean that it will knock people back like a cattle prod. If he's satisfied with his mod, cool yo. I'd personally rather have a balance of output and range and with small nozzles (regardless of the series) it's hard to get good output. Oh, and also: there aren't many CPS models on the market, so just telling him to "get a CPS" isn't that helpful.
Yeahyeah, you might want to do some other mods to increase the performance too. And measuring drill bits is easy if you have a good ruler.

Take the CPS2000 Mk.1, you think that's meant to muck around with?"Yarr, Super Soakers are meant as toys to just play with in your backyard
And why can't you mod a super soaker? <_< That just makes it better...NEVER to be opened or altered!"
Oh yeah, and the FanBlast mod on my XP310 CAN blast someone back like a cattle prod...Larami/Hasbro can name a product "Xtreme Power", that doesn't mean that it will knock people back like a cattle prod.
F.Y.I; it's Xtra Power, not Xtreme.... <_<
Anyway, what's the point in riot-blasting a Max-D? Like Vaporizer said, they're for range, not shotgunning. If you ask me, you've trashed a good sniper weapon. If you want a big blast on a Max-D, get a Secret Strike... They're common.

On my Max-D 3000 I cvf'd it and then I gained a few more feet. I also took off the decorative piece and it was dropped. The nozzle got pushed to the side a little so I had to snap it off. Now the gun is awesome, I shoot it and it has great output, and since I modded it the range dropped back to a normal Max-D! ^_^
I also painted it, you'll be able to see pics on my site next time I update it.

Sorry I was pretty tired and crabby when I wrote this. But let me point out that I put it in quotation marks for a reason; you were going by a weapon's name to judge what its use should be. I was just being sarcastic, but I wanted this kid to feel free to do whatever mods he wants. Range is over-rated anyways, there are no watergun snipers and no one's going to be afraid of a needle-thin stream of water regardless of the range.Originally posted by Jangadance@Jul 22 2004, 07:16 PM
