i had an xp70 a LONG time ago. If i could get one again i would. I just saw the original one like i had (yellow and blue) on ebay and one of the re-issues (blue and red/purple). I dont recommend the Max-D guns because the trigger valve will fail. I had my Max-D 3k's for less than 2 weeks before I returned them. And I think there might be a manufacturing problem with the 3000 because one of the ones i got (it was a twin pack) leaked from the cap. It wouldn't pressurize so i could only use the one. I returned them when the trigger valve in the working one broke and wouldn't close and I didn't feel like opening the gun up and fixing it.
My "arsenal": Customizable APH, Storm 600 pistol (still haven't finished fixing this), launcher- Model:AB1.0(Decommissioned), AB1.5, soon AB 1.1(2"rebuild) maybe ill get something else in the future
My site Image My website/forum is back up and running, for the most part after it having been deleted in october

Out of the three I'd take the XP 70 just because of the separate pressure chamber. That makes it much more versatile.

I'd also agree that XP water guns last longer and are significantly less problematic. There's one reason to get the XP 70. Since they're only $10 that sounds like a good deal. I might buy one.

My first water gun was an XP 70 but it broke because it was dropped (cracked pressure chamber) and I don't know what happened to it after that. From what I remember I wanted to take it apart but never got around to it. Once I remembered again it must have been thrown away. A true shame.

Again, the XP 70 because of the separate chamber. You'll be thanking yourself later when you can leave the chamber loaded and reload the reservoir. Also, I too had an XP 70 back in the day and remember that it was a pretty good gun. Nice and solid.
